Turquoise Trail Releasing, LLC is an independent “boutique” media content - (motion picture, television programming, music and new media) - worldwide releasing company. The company, based in New Mexico, is focused on the integration of traditional with non-traditional financing, innovative production practices, enhanced by new distribution models to deliver unique untold stories and entertainment content featuring Hispanic and Native American actors and artists. The company was founded in 2014 by Kenneth Segura Knoll, a Native New Mexican. Mr. Knoll brings over 35 plus years of Producing, Directing, and Writing experience. He is also an accomplished Songwriter. In 2017, the company produced the TV pilot – “Almost Americans”, a sitcom featuring Native American Comedian Marc Yaffee as Comedian and Citizenship Teacher. The core of his class all work at a Native American Resort Casino. Comedians Gerry Bednob (40 year Old Virgin), Steven Michael Quezada (Breaking Bad) and Sammy Obeid (Last Comic Standing) are just three of the comic/actors providing a stream of comic situations. Since producing the Pilot "Almost Americans", the company acquired distribution rights to several projects, plus have several projects in production and development. In production is a Mocumentary (subject top secret) shooting throughout New Mexico. For 2023 the company will focus on development of a multiple projects including; "Only Driven by an Old Lady", A TV sitcom pilot scheduled for production Fall of 2024, "The Keeper's Secret", a low budget feature scheduled for production Summer of 2024, and "Fight in the Meadows", a feature in development and production scheduled for 2025. The "Music" division (Turquoise Trail Music - a record label and publishing company), has partnered with Writer's Paradise Studios in Nashville to write and produce music. Kenneth Segura Knoll, who has written songs for multiple projects, including the "Children's Miracle Network" and served as Music Supervisor on the feature film "Sunbelt Express", has been actively working on music projects. He quickly made his mark in Nashville with his songs, "Fill Up My Tip Jar" and "Changes". His Spanish song, "Mi Tormento", has been recorded by multiple artists and released worldwide. POST NOTE: Kenneth Segura Knoll was the founder of the Sacramento Festival of Cinema in 1995. The festival continues today under the name Sacramento Film Festival. At the time that music videos where unique to television and the birth of MTV, Red Pepper Sound produced a Spanish music video featuring Los Elegantes featuring their hit song "Los Hijos de Don Ramon". Kenneth Segura Knoll Produced and Directed the video. While there was no Spanish Music Video channel the video played on shows like the "Johnny Canales Show", "De Colores" - Sacramento and others. The song was spoof on a top song "La Hijas de Don Simon". Both songs competed for the Number 1 song on Spanish radio. |

FLASH BACK -1979

Director. I was part of the
“Chicano” delegation invited.
